Epping Scholarships
Congratulations college bound graduating seniors! You are about to embark on the next step in your story and these local organizations offer scholarships to Epping High School students heading off to higher education, to help you along your way. The various local scholarships will either use the Scholarship Common App or have their own special application. The Common Application and the special applications are all included together here: SCHOLARSHIP PACKET. You can also pick up a printed copy in the school counseling office.
Please carefully review page 1 of the packet for directions. All scholarships must be submitted to the school counseling office by March 20, 2024.
Scholarships using the Common Application:
Adam McPhee Memorial Scholarship- Given by the McPhee family in memory of their son and brother Adam, a 99’ graduate of EHS. To promote the acceptance of all students, no matter their differences
American Legion Ladies Auxiliary Post 51 - Open to all students
American Legion Legion Riders- Open to all students
American Legion Post 51- Open to all students
American Legion Sons of the American Legion Post 51- Open to all students
Vallone Family Scholarship- Awarded to a student of good character, with preference to a student pursuing a career in education
Epping Historical Society (plus special essay)- Awarded to a student pursuing history and/or education. Essay topic: What history means to me
Hatfield/LaPierre Scholarship- For an outstanding graduating senior
Hesser Scholarship- Awarded to a student attending trade school or community college, with a strong career focus in mind
Karen Bickford Scholarship- Awarded in memory of Karen Bickford, a former EMS teacher, to a student(s) with a desire to enter the field of education
Leddy Center Scholarship- Awarded to a graduating senior pursuing performing arts, acting, music or dance
Roger, Helen and Linda Gauthier Memorial Scholarship- For an outstanding graduating senior
Yergeau Family Scholarship- For an outstanding graduating senior
Scholarships With Special Applications (included in the packet above):
Epping Athletic Boosters Club (plus special essay)- Given to students who have excelled at high school sports. Essay topic: How sports have impacted my life
Epping Lions Club- For an outstanding graduating senior
Epping Youth Athletic Association- Awarded to seniors who have participated in any EYAA sports program
Seacoast Artist Association (plus special essay)- For an outstanding graduating senior majoring in visual arts
Christopher Rowell Memorial Scholarship T.E.M.P.O. (plus special essay)- Awarded to outstanding students by The Epping Music Parents Organization, in memory of a band member. Essay topic: How music has impacted your life?
Red Knights Motorcycle Club Scholarship: Awarded to a student pursuing Fire Sciences or EMS/Paramedicine.
