A message from the Principal

Dear Zach White Families,

We are busy learning with activities every day here at Zach White. Our focus remains to cultivate a positive climate and create the best learning environment possible. High quality instruction, safety and student learning are our highest priorities. Everything that we do at Zach White is designed to help students learn in all areas and to be successful.

Once again, the partnership between school and home is a key ingredient for student success. With that said, we hope that your students are feeling safe and supported. These are interesting and challenging times, we have added new support systems for your children. Please speak to your child’s teacher about Saturday school. If you have questions and or concerns, we want to hear from you.

Proud to be your principal,

CORE Values - It Matters

The best way for children to learn is through repetition. As your child(ren) go through each month's Core Values theme at school, please talk to your child(ren) about the theme at home. It's very simple. Just follow the tips below and SAY, KNOW, SEE and BE with your child. Thank you

¡Gracias!

New Covid Provisions

Beginning on Tuesday, Jan. 25, the District will begin using updated COVID provisions and we want to make you aware of a few changes. These changes were approved by the Board of Trustees working in collaboration with health authorities from the region. The new provisions set the expectations that anyone on campus wear a face mask through Feb. 15. Those who are unable or unwilling to wear a face mask may opt out by submitting out a one-question survey. A link to the survey has been emailed to all parents and is also available on our website at www.episd.org/COVID19.

The District also updated its protocols to align to CDC and regional guidelines for people who test positive for COVID. Starting on Tuesday, any person who has tested positive must isolate at home for 5 days. If on Day 6 and onward, the person is symptom free and fever free, he or she may return to campus as long as they agree to wear a face mask at least through the tenth day after their positive diagnosis. Those who are unable or unwilling to wear a face mask will isolate for a full 10 days at home.

For more information on EPISD’s COVID protocols, log on to www.episd.org/COVID19.
