Welcome!
We are thrilled that you are a part of our community and look forward to welcoming you in person in September! Recognizing the unique challenges that international students and families may face in planning their arrival to campus, this page is created to serve as a special resource to new international family to help you prepare accordingly for Episcopal. Please feel free to reach out to International Student Coordinator Tran Kim-Senior at tkimsenior@episcopalhighschool.org at any time with any questions that you have, big or small.
Long Breaks
The campus is closed to students 3 times during the school year. Below are the dates for the 2026-2027 school year.
Thanksgiving Break-November 21 - November 30 (international students may return 1 day early on November 29 to help with jet lag)
Winter Break-December 19 - January 4 (international students may return 1 day early on January 3 to help with jet lag)
Spring Break-February 27-March 15 (international students may return 1 day early on March 14 to help with jet lag)
Students have until 5 p.m. on the first day of each break to depart campus and then can return anytime and must return by 8 p.m. on the last day of the break. During these periods, faculty and staff are NOT able to host students, and off-campus arrangements must be made for the student.
Varsity athletes for the winter season are typically asked to come back early from Thanksgiving and Winter break. Please make travel plans that are flexible to allow for changes or wait until you get further information to make travel arrangements for your child.
Varsity athletes for the spring season may be invited to participate in a pre-season trip for part of the spring break. Please make travel plans that are flexible to allow for changes or wait until you get further information to make travel arrangements for your child.
