Scholarships available to composers under the age of 27 engaged in the study and practice of several music genres. To apply, applicants must submit an original music competition that has not been published (unless self-published), or recorded commercially. The composer must be the sole composer of the original work submitted, must have the full right and authority to enter the composition, and should not have previously received an award or prize for the composition.

Description: NOVA CORE will provide full-tuition scholarships for up to two years for up to 40 students annually over the next five years. This significant opportunity is especially geared toward under-represented students in the engineering field - minorities, women, first-generation college students, and veterans. These grant-funded scholarships will allow participants to focus on their studies full-time while developing the valuable skills needed to complete their degrees NOVA and transfer to four-year institutions.
