Transforming Teaching Summer Collaborative

What is the Transforming Teaching Summer Collaborative?

TTSC is a unique opportunity for leaders of teaching and learning to come together in order to think deeply about the year ahead of them and plan proactively to lead instruction and guide change in their schools.  The Collaborative is different than other conferences or retreats because it focuses on the needs of the attendees and is designed to maximize the power of collaboration. Our goal is to provide each attendee with a retreat for their professional mind - a place to come to be inspired, share stories of what works in schools, and leave feeling a renewed sense of purpose and energy for the year to come.

Who should attend?

The Transforming Teaching Summer Collaborative is intended for leaders of teaching and learning that support teacher growth and professional learning in their schools.

How does it work?

Connections

The size of this conference is a key feature that facilitates the learning, productivity, and connectivity. You will have the ability to connect with many of the participants in small groups and even one-on-one, developing relationships that sustain you throughout the school year.

Time to Think, Plan and Iterate

In a typical conference you might go to several different, possibly disjointed sessions and learn a ton. But implementation when you return can be difficult. A key piece of TTSC is the time embedded within the Collaborative not only to plan, but also to get feedback from other participants on your plan.

Inspiration

We are thrilled to host a speaker this year who will help us think deeply about how we work with teachers, and explore how we can re-energize connections through story telling, and to guide us in reflection. However, the real power of TTSC is within the attendees and their deep knowledge and passion around independent schools.

Cost

The cost to attend the Collaborative is $155. This price includes the conference and four meals.
