ECS Required Summer Reading Lists 2023
Students entering grades 1, 2, 3, 4, & 5 are required to read 2 books from their list.
Students entering grade K are required to read 3 books from their list.
Students entering grade 6, 7 & 8 are required to read 1 book from their list.
Students will be assessed by quiz, activity, project or discussion upon their return to Epiphany in August 2023.
Books can be found in public libraries, in local bookstores or purchased online.
There is no required reading for entering PreKindergarten. However, I encourage them to read anything for pleasure.

Entering Preschool (3 & 4 year olds) 2023-2024

Entering Kindergarten 2023-2024
All incoming kindergarteners are REQUIRED to read these 2 books:
Nursery Rhymes by K. Toms (or any nursery rhyme book if this one is unavailable)
Summer Bridge Activities PreK-K by Rainbow Bridge Publishing (some teachers may required this book to be brought to school in August)
