Bio Information:

I am thrilled to be the literacy coordinator at Bolin School this school year. This is my third year in East Peoria School District 86; however, I have been an educator for 26 years!

Before coming to East Peoria, I was a teacher in Dunlap CUSD for five years and in Creve Coeur School District 76 for sixteen years, seventeen of those years in fifth grade.  I am a 1997 graduate from Bradley University where I received my bachelor's degree in elementary education.  In May 2012,  I graduated with my master's degree as a Reading Specialist from Benedictine University. 

I live in East Peoria with my husband, Patrick, and our daughter, Josie.  We have a dog, Lily, and two cats, Hazel and Minnie.  When I am not teaching or busy being a band mom,  I am  involved in community theater.  I have been singing, dancing, and acting in musicals since I was fourteen. I have stepped off the stage and directed shows for Corn Stock Theater.  I directed Grease at Cornstock Theater four summers ago. Josie and I were Mamma Bear and Baby Bear in the musical Shrek; we love being in shows together! ​I live a full, happy life and am so thankful for all that I have!
