Listening to music while completing assignments and studying can be an effective tool. In general, music can help improve your mood, increase motivation, and improve memory and brain stimulation. A 2007 study from the Stanford University School of Medicine found that music (classical music specifically) can help your brain absorb and interpret new information more easily. It is for this reason that classical / instrumental music will often be played when you have time in class to work on assignments. You can also access the playlist as you complete assignments or study outside of class.
