Elementary English Language Development Program

About

The English Language Development program assists students in acquiring English through listening, speaking, reading, and writing. Students receive language instruction to support their academic success. Instruction is provided by teachers who are certified in teaching English as a second language (ESL). English learners (ELs) take an annual English language proficiency assessment called the WIDA ACCESS for ELLs.

Meet the Teachers

Emily Wolszczenski, East Pennsboro Elementary

Hello! I am the English Language Development teacher at East Pennsboro Elementary. I enjoy teaching young learners and guiding them through the English language development process. I have a certificate in Elementary Education, Middle Level English and ESL. I also hold a Master’s Degree in Teaching and Curriculum. My goal is to encourage young learners to think and love learning for the rest of their lives! I have three children and like to cook in my spare time.
