What teams can i tryout for?
There are 3 separate teams:
Football
Season runs from August to late October
Performs at halftime of the varsity football games, the Variety Show, and the Homecoming pep rally
Basketball
Season runs from late October to February
Performs at halftime of the varsity boys' basketball games
Hosts a Kids' Camp
Competition
Season runs from late October to March
Performs at halftime of some boys' and girls' basketball games
Competes at IHSA & IDTA competitions
You MUST be on the basketball team in order to be considered for this team.

Completed tryout application
Signed parent consent form and tryout agreement
EPCHS Gold Card
Updated physical on file
Comfortable clothes (NO JEANS)
Jazz shoes or tennis shoes

when are tryouts for the competition team?
Competition tryouts will immediately follow the conclusion of the football season. It is important to note that only members who have made the basketball team will be eligible to tryout for the competition team.
