Olivia's research investigates uncertainty, prototypicality, leadership, intergroup relations, extreme group behavior, and dehumanization through the lens of social identity theory. Within these domains, her work explores how uncertainty surrounding one’s social identity, group standing, leader, and group identity affects how people understand themselves as well as how they view and treat others.
