Welcome to Algebra 2

Here are the main topics we will cover over the time period

• Sequences:We will look at arithmetic/geometric sequences, and the contrasting models and representations, finding the nth term of a geometric sequence, and identifying the growth factor ?

• Polynomials/Rational, Exponential, and Trigonometric Functions: Looking graphs of polynomials, degrees of functions, intercepts and end behaviors of a function, trig identities, growth/decay models

• Transformations:We will use function notation to inspect/look at how coordinate change in a courtesan plane

• Complex Numbers: Look at the boundaries between real and complex, especially in problems that involve the quadratic formula
