CougAR Choir

Time for 26/27 Cougar Choir! Choir is open to all 3rd, 4th, and 5th grade students. This year, choir will be divided into 2 sessions: fall and winter. This is to help encourage attendance, as well as to give your student time to participate in all the other awesome activities available to them!

If your student signs up for a session, they will be expected to attend weekly rehearsals, as well as the cummulative performance.

Session 1 will include Veterans Day, Holiday Concert, and possible caroling!

Session 2 will include All District Choir Concert. 

The goals of our choir include:

• Choral participation will enrich the quality of our lives and the lives of those for whom we sing.

• Singing will help us to develop our presentation skills and our voices in a healthy and confident manner.

• Belonging to the choir will foster a cooperative learning environment and friendships based on shared musical experiences.

Expectations include:

• Rehearsal Attendance during the school day! Attendance will be taken and is required for performance participation.

• Performance Attendance. This is the fun part!
