Our Philosophy

Theatre is a Safe Place for ALL.

Students, Teachers, Administrators, Coaches, Community Members, Old People, Young People, Weird People, Confused People, Broadway-Bound People, Just-Need-Something-To-Do People, Artists, Athletes, EVERYONE.

EHS productions are improved in rehearsal and performance by having guests, whether with more stage or life experience, join us. When having guests, careful consideration is always given to make sure EHS student opportunities are equitable.

Theatre is Preparation for LIFE.

Whether students plan to be a professional actor or a professional technician, whether they want to work on their speaking or writing skills, whether they want to become a more confident human being, or whether they just enjoy collaborating with crazy artists after school; this is what we do.

We find new ways to educate, guide, and mentor in the process of telling stories onstage. Then we pass it on, we provide shows, skits, support, and outreach to local elementary schools and youth organizations. We care about the culture beyond the walls of our auditorium. Theatre allows us to dream beyond our personal circumstances and inspires us to lead the world.
