Crisis Connections: crisis line and home to five programs focused on serving the emotional and physical needs of individuals across Washington State. These programs include the 24-Hour Crisis Line, King County 2-1-1, Teen Link, WA Recovery Help Line and WA Warm Line. With over 400 trained volunteers and experienced staff, we provide support, resources and certified training for King County and other communities statewide.

DAWN: a nonprofit which supports, empowers and shelters survivors of domestic abuse in South King County. Also helps to keep us all safe by educating our community to respond to and prevent violence.

Guided Pathways: provides support for families and their children in King County. They provide one-to-one parent support to help guide parents through the System of Care while their child is having difficulty and during recovery. They provide peer support to guide youth through their hard times. They offer parent classes and training for parent support providers. The majority of services are free of charge.

Kinship Care: Are you a grandparent or other family member raising a relative’s child? You are not alone. More than 47,000 individuals in Washington State are caring for one or more relative children (out of a total of 51,000). The financial, legal, and emotional issues of raising a relative’s child can be challenging. Services and support when raising a relative’s child can be a lifesaver.

NAMI Online Support Groups: weekly, peer-led recovery-support groups for adults 18 and older with mental health diagnoses. They are groups of individuals who meet to share their challenges and benefit from each other’s lived experiences and support. All groups are confidential and group leaders are trained by NAMI to keep the discussions focused and emotionally safe. Below is a link to online support groups in Washington.

Safe Crossings Program: Grief Support Services for Children & Teens in the Community and in Schools. Safe Crossings offers events that provide opportunities for families to come together to reflect on the loss of a significant person in a safe, supportive virtual environment. The organization offers an annual summer camp for students called Camp Erin®-King County which will be held August 15-19th, 2021. Registration closes in July. SAMHSA’s National Helpline: SAMHSA’s National Helpline is a free, confidential, 24/7, 365-day-a-year treatment referral and information service (in English and Spanish) for individuals and families facing mental and/or substance use disorders.

Vine Maple Place: offers moms and kids facing homelessness the resources and tools needed to become safe and stable, leaving homelessness behind forever. Washington Recovery Help Line: a program of Crisis Connections. They offer an anonymous, confidential 24-hour help line for Washington State residents. This help line is for those experiencing substance use disorder, problem gambling, and/or a mental health challenge. Their professionally-trained volunteers and staff provide emotional support. They can also connect callers with local treatment resources or more community services.
