The Road to Woodfall
To get to Woodfall you need to exit out of south Clock Town, when out in Termina Field keep going straight. You should end up in the road to Southern Swamp, now just follow this until you get to the tourist center. Go to the right of that and you should see lilypads, jump on them with the deku mask. There will be an arch that has a potion symbol on it, go into it. Then go into the woods behind the Magic Hag’s Potion Shop, once in there a monkey should appear, follow him through this maze of a forest to get to Koume. Once you see her go back to the potion and tell her sister that she was attacked, then she will give you a red potion. Now go back to Koume and talk to her to give her the potion (don’t target her and drink it). Now that she is revived go back to the Tourist Center and she will give you a boat cruise, the first time she stops get off of it. Now you are at the Deku Palace, walk through the door that is in front. Now become a deku and talk to the guards, they will tell you to go straight, but like the rebel you are take the left door. Once inside sneak around the garden until you see a grotto in the ground, go inside of it. Once in it you will see a magic bean seller buy 1 bean and get the water (with your bottle) that is inside of the grotto. Now go back to the front of palace and go to the left of it before you enter the palace. You will see some soft soil plant your bean and water it to make a plant that can fly. Jump on it, once up there you will see deku flowers just fly to each one with Deku Link. While flying you will see some other dekus in plants, just shoot them with your snot to kill them. When you are done with that you should see a door go into it and you will see a monkey talk to him with Human Link, then he will tell you to pull out a loud instrument, so become a deku and play those deku pipes! He will teach the sonata of awakening, this song will let you open Woodfall. Now let’s make our way to the temple. For this next bit you need to get back to the front of the palace, when there go back onto the lilypads on the left but don’t go to the soft soil spot, you should see a tiny outcove on the left, go inside. When there jump to deku flower to deku flower until you reach a blueish ledge. There will be a door there go inside. Once inside fly to deku flowers until you are at a spot with a deku symbol on it. Now stand on the symbol and play the sonata of awakening to get the temple to appear. Fly to the temple and walk inside, Now you can take on Woodfall!
