Livestream is not available in the web browser version. To use the Livestream, please download and install the app.

Creating a FANNEL Account

Create a FANNEL account with your phone number or email address.

When Registering With a Phone Number on the App

  1. Enter a phone number that can receive SMS (short message) and tap on “Next”. You will receive a 4-digit verification code (one-time password) by SMS.

  2. Enter the 4-digit verification code that you have received by SMS and tap on “Register”.

Start up the app, go to “Register New Account”, enter a phone number that can receive SMS and tap on “Next”.

When Registering With a Phone Number on a Web Browser

  1. Click on the menu button (〓) at the top left-hand corner of the screen to open the menu and select “Register New Account”.

  2. Enter a phone number that can receive SMS (short message), your nickname and your password and click on “Register New Account”.

  3. When you receive a 4-digit verification code (one-time password) by SMS to the phone number you have registered, enter the 4-digit verification code and click on “Register New Account”.

Enter the required information, including a phone number that can receive SMS.

Enter the 4-digit verification code (one-time password, OTP) that you have received by SMS and click on “Register New Account”.

When Registering With an Email Address on the App

  1. Enter your email address and tap on “Next”. You will receive an email with the subject “【Fannel】Email Address Confirmation”.

  2. Access the authentication URL included in the email.

  3. The app will launch. In the “New Registration by Email” screen, set your password and tap on “Next”.

A confirmation email will be sent to the email address you entered (please leave the app running).

With the app still running, access the authentication URL.

Enter your desired password and tap on “Next” to complete the registration procedure.

When Registering With an Email Address on a Web Browser

  1. Click on the menu button (〓) at the top left-hand corner of the screen to open the menu and select “Register New Account”.

  2. Enter a valid email address, nickname, and password, and click on “Register New Account”.

  3. When you receive an email with the subject “【Fannel】Email Address Confirmation” at the email address you have registered, access the authentication URL included in the email to complete your new account registration.

Select “Register New Account” from the menu (〓) at the top left-hand corner.

Enter a valid email address and all required information and click on “Register New Account”.

Proceed to register a new account by accessing the authentication URL that has been sent to your email address.

<Points to Note When Registering by Email Address>

  • An authentication email will be sent from "noreply@fannel.app". You may not be able to receive the email depending on your mail carrier or junk email settings. Please either reconfigure your junk email settings or set your email to permit emails from "fannel.app".

  • In the case of Gmail, Yahoo! Mail or iCloud Mail, the email may have been sent to the "All Mail" or the "All Inbox" folder so please check them.

  • When registering through the app, if you access the authentication URL while the app is closed, the app will display the login page again. Please access the authentication URL while the FANNEL app is running.

  • Please note that if you were to register a new account by phone number before completing your registration by email address after the authentication email has been sent, you will not be able to register the same email address on your Profile page.

Registering User Information

Go to your “Account” page by clicking on the icon in the top right-hand corner of the home screen, and register your user information such as nickname and profile picture.

<Precautions>

  • Please note that if you do not register a nickname, your user ID (number) will be displayed during live streams.

  • Your registered profile picture and nickname will be made public during live streams.

  • Please register your name, address, contact number, etc. as they will be required for the delivery of privileges/gifts (to be detailed below) and campaign prizes.

Preparing to Participate in the Livestream

Tap on the “Follow” button on each artist’s page to follow them. If you follow an artist, you will receive a notification when they start livestreaming.

Tap "Follow" on the profile page.

Participating in the Livestream

  1. When an artist you are following starts a livestream, you will receive a push notification, e.g. " ***** is currently livestreaming!", from the app.

  2. Access the artist’s page through the push notification or the notification list in the app (the bell icon on the bottom right of the home screen).

  3. Tap the "ON AIR" icon displayed on the artist’s profile picture to view the livestream.

Use items and stamps to make your live stream more exciting!

  • You can use "Coins" to liven up your live stream with "Donate(Items)" and "Stickers".

  • You can purchase "Coins" from "Coins" in the menu.

Click the icon in the upper right corner to purchase Coins.

You can also purchase items from "Coins" during live streaming.

"EXP" & Privileges/Gifts

  • You will be able to accumulate "EXP" (experience points) depending on the number of items you use.

  • The amount of EXP you have accumulated will be displayed on the respective artist's page. As EXP is accumulated for each artist respectively, you will not be able to combine EXP from different artists on the app.

  • The EXP you have accumulated can be used to exchange for the various privileges/gifts listed on the artist's "Sponsored" page.

Feed

  • Enjoy original photos and videos posted by the artist through the "Feed" on their profile page.

  • Enjoy not only FANNEL-original photos and videos but also a variety of information posted by the artist, such as images and tweets from their Twitter account and embedded YouTube videos.

  • You can also post comments and send hearts to each article.

  • You can send "Mega-Likes" through each artist's profile page or each individual article in the artist's feed.

  • Use coins to send "Mega-Likes" and show your support for the artists.

Special privileges/gifts, experiences and services are available at flat-rate recurring charges or individual (one-time) charges.

Subscription-based (monthly or yearly flat-rate billing services)
