Each student draws and/or describes the carriage that the fairy godmother might conjure up for a different type of Cinderella character. For example, what if he/she were a firefighter?

To practice identifying story elements, use this little cube. Kids construct it. Then they roll it to identify setting, hero/heroine, villain(s), conflict, climax, and resolution.

This Facebook-like activity lets kids look at events in a Cinderella story from a specific character's perspective. Have some fun (while encouraging critical thinking!)
