The Morocco–China Doctoral Symposium on Sustainable Transportation, Smart Cities, and Green Energy Systems is an international academic event dedicated to fostering scientific dialogue, research exchange, and institutional collaboration between Moroccan and Chinese scholars, researchers, and students. Hosted at the National School of Mineral Industry (ENSMR), Rabat, the symposium will bring together experts and emerging researchers working at the intersection of sustainable mobility, smart urban development, renewable energy integration, intelligent power systems, digital infrastructure, and green transition pathways.
Designed as a platform for high-level academic exchange, the symposium will feature invited talks, technical sessions, doctoral presentations, and collaborative discussions addressing current challenges and opportunities in the development of low-carbon, resilient, and technology-driven cities. By connecting expertise from both countries, the event seeks to strengthen Morocco–China cooperation in research, innovation, and higher education, while promoting interdisciplinary perspectives on sustainable transportation, smart city systems, and future energy solutions.
The symposium also aims to encourage doctoral engagement, scientific networking, and the development of new collaborative initiatives between laboratories, universities, and research groups. Through this shared platform, participants will have the opportunity to present their work, exchange ideas, and contribute to ongoing efforts toward more sustainable, intelligent, and inclusive urban and energy systems.
