Learning Design

Enid MS Virtual Academy was developed to give parents an option for their middle school student outside of a traditional classroom. There are two options for students:

Google Classroom - students will be enrolled in the Google Classroom of each teacher. The assignments will be similar to the assignments of regularly enrolled students. This is recommended for 6th and 7th grade students.

Edgenuity - this is a software program that includes direct instruction videos from a virtual instructor and a mix of supported and independent practice. An individual from Emerson will be overseeing their progress. It is recommended that students have an 8th grade reading level for the program.
