This is Coach Sean Stetler’s seventh year coaching at Englewood and 13th year coaching high school track and field. Coach Stetler attended Shippensburg University of Pennsylvania where he won conference titles in the 3,000, 5,000, and 10,000 meter runs. His senior year, Stetler set the school record for the 3,000 meters and qualified for the NCAA Division II Championship in the 10,000 meter run. After graduating with a degree in secondary education and social sciences, Stetler spent six year teaching and coaching high school track and field in Pennsylvania, where he guided several athletes to school records, state medals, and collegiate careers at all divisions. Coach Stetler works with all events groups, and serves as meet director for our many home meets; He teaches geography and psychology at Englewood High School and still runs competitively whenever he can. Coach Stetler is a USATF Certified Coach.
Coach Cusick is in his fifth year at Englewood High School and serves as the boys and girls distance coach. John was an All-American at Colorado Mesa University and 3 time school record-holder for the Mavericks. He qualified for the NCAA Championships 3 times throughout his career and earned All-American in the 1500 his senior year with a fourth place finish. John still runs competitively in distances from the 800 to the half marathon. in 2022 he broke 4:00 in the Superior Downhill Mile! Coach Cusick works in IT and is also the Head Cross-Country coach for Saint Mary's Academy. Coach Cusick is a USATF Certified Coach.
Coach Ally is in her second year coaching at Englewood High School assisting in coaching sprints, jumps and relays. Ally ran at Colorado Mesa University competing in events from the 100 meter to the 800 meter. During her time at CMU, she was on the record breaking teams for the 4x100, 4x400 and DMR. Ally is a fourth grade teacher who also coaches high school cross country with Coach Cusick at St. Mary's Academy and middle school volleyball and basketball in Evergreen. Ally is a USATF Certified Coach.
This is Coach Frank Graziano’s first year coaching at Englewood and 2nd year coaching high school track and field. Coach Frank began his track journey at Thunder Ridge High School running the 110m Hurdles, 300m Hurdles, 4x400m relay, and 4x200m relay finishing 8th in the 300m hurdles and 11th in the 110m hurdles at the 2011 Colorado State Track and Field Championship. With opportunities to run track and play football in college, Frank elected to stay in state and focus on his education attending Regis University where he earned a Double Major in Business and Accounting, a Master’s of Science in Accounting, and his Certified Public Accountant (CPA) licensure in Colorado. Frank maintained his love for running through participating in races, training for obstacle courses and competitions. But it wasn’t till he rediscovered his love for track and field when he began to coach Englewood’s own Serenity Gambrell outside of organized practices. Not only does Frank coach athletes, but Frank is a Certified Life Coach helping others discover their purpose, achieve their goals, and build great habits. Frank continues competing in track and field events as a member of Denver Athletics and is excited and proud to be a part of the Englewood High School Track and Field coaching staff. Frank is a USATF Certified Coach.
