What does STEAM stand for? Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics

What do we do in the Honey Lab? The students use their brains to  solve problems related to what we are learning in our classes.  Some of our cognitive objectives are: Planning, Persisting, Curiosity, Solving Problems,  Making Connections and Design Thinking. We  are also learning social emotional skills such as: Cooperation, Flexibility , Regulation, and Managing Disappointment.

What is Design Thinking? Englewood Schools STEAM programs are teaching our students how to solve problems in an innovative way. Please learn more about the students learning this process at our preschool in this slideshow. 

How often does my child go to the Honey Lab? Each class is scheduled once every other week, but lessons and concepts are brought into their classrooms.
