Included below is a full list of our multimedia files along with the main milestones of our design process:
Sensor hub is placed inside the ribs and ribs are placed back on mannikin torso
Trial 1 of Prototype Test. The system was turned on by the battery holder switch and the user was performing chest compressions on the mannikin. The screen is displaying the values that fulfill our sponsor's requirements.
The mannikin was placed inside an Instron Load tester and compressed to the maximum compression depth, with force readings measured at various depths
This test was to implement different visuals onto the LCD screen to predict how our values would appear.
The sponsor requested a time graph for the chest compression depth to showcase frequency. In this video, we demonstrate how a time graph materializes on the LCD.
In this experiment, the magnet needed to be extremely close to the sensor. We determined that its application to our project would not be beneficial.
This test was to understand how the output voltage from this sensor would show.
This test was to help visualize how the force sensor collects data using arduino.
