Dr. Helen Wang, MD, is a pediatrician who provides primary care for infants, children and young adults up to age 21. Her expertise includes working with overweight children to help them and their families develop good lifestyle choices, including following a healthy diet and being physically active.
Dr. Lawrence Ma
Dr. Lawrence Ma, MD, is a board-certified pediatrician and internal medicine doctor who provides primary care for children, adults and seniors, including preventive care and diagnosis and treatment of acute and chronic diseases. Dr. Ma's areas of care focus on children with complex medical problems and helping them transition to adult care.

We would like to start off by saying there is no way we could have accomplished what we have done without the help of many others.
First and foremost, it is imperative to thank our sponsors Dr. Helen Wang and Dr. Lawrence Ma. With their guidance we were able to understand the issue at hand and work towards a solution that would truly help medical students learn how to conduct otoscopy exams better. Moreover, their patience and trust in us allowed us to confidently utilize our skills and knowledge to the best of our abilities without fear of making mistakes. Overall, Dr. Helen and Dr. Lawrence were amazing sponsors and we would like to thank them for making us feel comfortable and giving us the opportunity to demonstrate our capabilities.
Secondly, we would like to thank our professor Dr. Nathan Delson and our teaching assistant (TA) Emily Lathrop for providing us with incredible suggestions and advice. There were many times when we felt like we hit a brick wall this quarter, and they easily broke it down for us. Without their help and guidance we are unsure if we would have been able to make it this far. As a result, we would like to thank both of them for being spectacular instructors.
Lastly, we would like to express our appreciation to Ian Richardson, Christopher Cassidy, and Tom Chalfant. Ian Richardson was a great help when it came to helping us get the tools we needed such as a waveform generator and oscilloscope. Chris Cassidy gave us access to his LaserCamm and 3D printers which were necessary for our testing setups as well as multiple parts in the final design. Lastly, Tom Chalfant was extremely pleasant and supportive in the machine shop. He helped us whenever we had questions and made sure we were manufacturing precisely.
