Creating a Model Tongue:
In order to model a tongue for prototype testing, a 00-10 Ecoflex Silicone was used to mimic the tongues material properties. A 3D printed mold of a tongue was created that would fall to the back of the throat, mimicking obstructive sleep apnea. CAD models of the tongue mold can be found here. Â
