Hi all,
A few notes on the Final exam:
The exam will be proctored, and a TA will be present in the room.
Solutions MUST BE WRITTEN IN BLACK OR BLUE INK – no pencils allowed.
Bring two blue books (solution must be written on a blue book). WRITE your name and PID on the blue books.
Write your answers clearly. Clearly indicate your final answer on the blue book.
Scientific calculators are allowed in the exam. TI-30XA and TI-30XIIS. You are required to get one of these calculators for the midterm and final exam; no other calculators will be allowed. Here are some links to places to purchase the calculators: TI-30XATarget, TI-30XA Amazon , TI-30XIIS , TI-30XIIS Amazon.
Graphing calculators are not allowed. All cell phones must be closed. No computers. No other electronics. No electronic watches. No e-glasses.
The exam is closed-notes and closed-book. You are encouraged to write a cheat-sheet (A4 standard paper, two-sided), which must be handwritten and your name written on it. No xerox/photocopy is allowed. It is OK to write it on an IPAD and print it, but you cannot share it with someone else.
The exam will be in Peterson 102.
You are responsible for all material covered in class up to the exam date. You are encouraged to do previous midterms and final exams for practice.

For mutual impedance between elements of different lengths, please take the average length of the two dipoles and use that value in the mutual impedance formula for equal-length dipoles.

We will use Canvas only for homework solution submissions and for communicating with you. It is best that you download the lectures and read them before going to class, as I will skip on several of the mathematical steps on the board (but discuss them).
