Discussion Sessions:
Course Goal: We will continue our study of linear systems including new transforms as well as introduction to digital filtering and investigate how digital processing of signals is done. The aim of this course is to build a solid (theoretical as well as intuitive) foundation for more advanced DSP topics. I follow my own typed lecture notes very closely. I usually post the lectures a couple weeks ahead of time. I strongly recommend that students take a look at the materials to be covered at each class prior to the class, in order to utilize the class time for interactive learning. The notes originally posted are NOT complete: they miss large sections you NEED to fill prior to or while following the lecture. After every lecture, I post the lecture notes as we have completed them in the class as well as the podcasts for future reference.
