Our team consists of Chris, Siddarth, Joaquin, and Martiza. We are a part of COSMOS Cluster 2, entitled Engineering Design and Control of Kinetic Sculptures. COSMOS is a summer program for high school students who have an interest for mathematics and science. In this Cluster 2 we work together to design, build, analyze and even control kinetic sculptures within the Dept. of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering at UCSD. These kinetic sculptures that consists of an individually designed clock pendulum and our team effort to design mini sculptures and the ultimate full sculpture!
This is the beginning of our sculpture, we just started making the area for the trampoline and the place where would hold the catapult. As well the track that the marble would follow and fall into the marble launcher.
