The design of my pendulum is based on a cartoon called My Neighbor Totoro and the escapement wheel is signed with my friend's names. The cartoon was a core memory of my childhood and one of a very few things I remember, and to further capture the feeling of nostalgia, I asked those who helped me the most with my project to show gratitude and remember them. The structure of the escapement wheel is fixed and can only be decorate with scoring and/or paint markers, while the pendulum allowed more freedom. However, the pendulum was still limited to a certain dimension and included bolts for weight. To make my pendulum well balanced and finding the center of mass easier, the design was created using the mirror tool to ensure symmetry and I avoided creating holes for designs and opted out for scorings.
