Timeline and Progress

The design team has consistently reached milestones ahead of schedule. The team's commitment to completing the project is evident in the proof of concept testing completed during the Fall of 2020. The testing consisted of validation of respiration rate and heart rate comparing with measured respiration rate and real-time electrocardiogram (ECG) signals. With this testing, the team broke into sub-groups to ensure that each design would be completed on time without sacrificing performance and functionality. Currently, both design groups continue to refine the designs, using recorded and real ECG signals for testing.
