The team purchased the following G-10 stock directly from McMaster-Carr:
Stock for manufactured test fixtures was purchased at Industrial Metal Supply in San Diego. Test fixture design will depend on the specific testing equipment available. However, drawings for fixtures as manufactured for this project are provided as a reference here.
Additionally, the composite anti-intrusion plate was manufactured with materials generously supplied by General Atomics. Specifically, the carbon fiber weave, film adhesive, and foaming adhesive were provided at no cost to the team. In the event that the specific materials used to manufacture the composite AIP cannot be obtained, materials demonstrating similar properties may be used. The names and material properties of these components are described below for reference.
