The first brake design mounted on the side of the go-kart, eventually deemed too complex to reproduce by our sponsor.
First design of the brake mounting consisted on 3 different components each mounting the brake components onto a T-rail.
Primary brake design slotted onto a T-rail and was universal for where it could be mounted. This T-rail had many mounting points and was customizable for many locations.
Steering motor was meant to sit parallel to the steering shaft and drives it via gear pully system (not pictured)
The steering solution also utilizes universal T-rails to mount the assembly securely in the go-kart connecting the rail systems to fixed parts of the chassis.
