The research is conducted as a Sri Lanka - Malaysia joint research funded by the International Development Research Center of Canada. The research utilizes artificial intelligence framework for threat assessment and containment for COVID-19 and future epidemics while mitigating the socioeconomic impact to women, children, and underprivileged groups.

Working as a trainee engineer I got exposure to the power transmission and distribution system of Sri Lanka by engaging in work carried out in‑plant and field.

NWS&DB is a prestigious organization that serves the nation by supplying purified water. Working as a Trainee Engineer I got the opportunity to gather hands-on experience in the work carried out related to pumping systems and generator systems. I managed to design and implement an "Automatic Water Monitoring and Alarming System" to monitor erroneous overflow signals.
