We are SPG (Sterile Processing Group), a forward-thinking community who is not only dedicated to providing the highest quality of care when processing surgical instruments for hospitals because of patients’ safety, our bread and butter, but also dedicated to building products that make everyday life simpler, smarter, and more connected. Founded in 2026 and headquartered in Augusta, Georgia, USA.

Our Story

SPG started in a Sterile Processing Department at Wellstar MCG Hospital, where everyone is encouraged and empowered to not only work to the best of their capacity and knowledge, but are also given unlimited access to research and development of means to improve our profession. What began as a weekend project between two friends quickly grew into a team of passionate builders, designers, and thinkers united by a shared vision.

We are still heavily involved with CRST/SPD work, but are still passionate about giving solutions to individuals or departments who are in need of our solutions.
