Seeking God’s Glory in Worship:
2 Cor 3 says that when we encounter the glory of the Lord, we are “transformed into his likeness from one glory to glory.” The first half of the night will be free child-like worship. We are seeking after his glory with childlike faith in Spirit and Truth.
8:00 PM
Teaching
Romans 12 says that we are “transformed by the renewal of our mind.” In the second half, our speakers seek to release teaching to help renew our mind on kingdom topics to help us think more from the mind of Christ.
9:00 PM
Prayer Ministry
After teaching, members of the Encounter staff, and students in the Encounter School of Ministry will be available for anyone seeking breakthrough from God in their lives. On this Night our Prayer Teams Will seek God's heart for you and your life. All prophetic words you receive are meant to encourage You into greater intimacy with your God.

Encounter Worship Chicago
Encounter Worship Chicago Is a collection of Worship Leaders made up of our Students and Directed by Our Campus Worship Director Dr. Mark Nimo.
PRESENCE-DRIVEN , PROPHETIC WORSHIP.
Worship can be described as the valuing of God and the outward expression of loving Him above all things. Here at Encounter, one way we value and treasure God is by worshiping him in song and music – free of a performance mentality with a child-like joy.
As the Encounter School of Ministry equips us and helps us grow in the different giftings God has given us, our goal with Encounter Worship is to specifically help our Campus students and alumni operate more effectively in areas of worship and music.

What Is Encounter School of Ministry
Drawing from the richness of our Catholic heritage, we seek to teach, equip, and activate disciples to demonstrate the love of God through the power of the Holy Spirit in their spheres of influence.
Most people don’t experience supernatural moments in their everyday lives. There is a big disconnect between their own experiences and those in stories of scripture or the lives of saints. If deep down you know Jesus Christ did not die for a powerless church, then you may be looking for the more that is promised by God. The Encounter School of Ministry can radically renew your mind and transform your life.
In Hearing God’s Voice, author Jonna Schuster offers a practical guide for how to cultivate a dynamic, fruitful relationship with the Lord by learning to hear His voice in prayer. Rooted in Scripture and Catholic theology, this insightful book walks you through the essentials of identifying and discerning when the Lord is speaking to you, enabling you to deepen your connection with Him both during designated prayer times and throughout daily life.
In this book, you will learn to:
Understand the biblical and theological foundations for hearing God
Recognize the various “languages” through which God speaks—seeing, hearing, feeling, and thinking—and how to listen for each
Discern the source of what you hear in prayer, distinguishing between God, yourself, and the Enemy
Overcome obstacles that hinder your ability to hear God
Incorporate listening prayer into your daily life to foster deeper intimacy with the Lord
Through teaching, examples, stories, and guided practice exercises, Hearing God’s Voice goes beyond simply relaying information and creates the space and opportunity to encounter the Lord as you read its pages . . . and in doing so, experience transformation in your life.
