EMUHSD has established Wellness Centers on all campuses. Wellness Center programs are committed to empowering our students and providing a safe and positive environment with educational learning facilities that offer evidence-based resources to address a wide variety of student and community needs and actively promote wellness, resiliency and the de-stigmatization of mental health.
Wellness Centers are open to all students before and after school, during nutrition, and lunch. Services offered at Wellness Centers include but are not limited to the following: Open Center, Wellness passes/Wellness check-in’s, Wellness Campaigns/Activities and Referrals & Resources.
Groups & Workshops are offered at any time throughout the year on topics including but not limited to:
Grief, Time Management, Grooming Prevention, Motivation, Seasonal Depression, Self Esteem, Stress Management, Test Taking Anxiety, Understanding Mental Health and Suicide Prevention Awareness.
EMUHSD partners with many local mental health agencies to provide services to students and families. Services include individual/family therapy and workshops on different topics.
