SUMMER CAMP DATES:

AM SESSION
9:00am - 12:00pm
Boys and girls 4th to 8th grade
This camp is designed to teach and reinforce players all the basic skills, mechanics and fundamentals in the early development stages (serving, passing, setting, hitting, defense). Seasoned players will get to work on improving their skill level with the latest volleyball techniques.
PM SESSION
1:00pm - 4:30pm
BOYS ONLY from 8th to 12th grade
The goal of this camp is to create a passion for boys volleyball and the development and growth of boys volleyball in the Shenandoah Valley! Campers of all levels are encouraged to participate. Whether you are a beginner looking to learn the fundamentals or you are a seasoned player and want to hone your skills, there is a space for you here! The main focus of this camp is to train and work on all the skills mechanics and fundamentals of the game. We have machines to replicate serving and other training devices to improve the camper learning experience.
Girls and Boys
Never played volleyball before? No problem!
We are excited to introduce you to this wonderful sport!
Camp Director: Omar Hoyos
Coach Hoyos, is the Men's Volleyball Head Coach at EMU since 2023. He has over 20 years of coaching experience with children's and youth at development and competitive levels in the United States and Puerto Rico.
Camp staff
Under the direction of Coach Hoyos, the camp staff will be current and past players of the EMU MVB program. All of our coaches either have college coaching experience or played at the collegiate level.

*Cost: $140
*Paypal payment only when you register online before check-in. Cash and checks will be accepted at check-in on July 15th.
Players must register online before attending the first session on July 15th, but payment in person will be accepted.
The cost covers coaches, facility rental, insurance, athletic trainers, and an EMU Volleyball T-shirt.

EMU Volleyball Camps will be held in University Commons on EMU's campus. UC is home to our Athletics Offices, Fitness Center, and Yoder Arena the home of EMU Men's Volleyball. Our facility can house up to 5 volleyball courts. And ...we have air conditioning!
Parking
EMU does not monitor parking during its summer break. You can park in any lot adjacent to the University Commons. Please do not park in any Reserved Spaces or Handicap spaces without an appropriate parking pass.
