You should be using email to communicate with your child's teacher. Google Classroom is a platform that was designed for teachers and students. You child teacher(s) may send Parent or Guardian's Summaries. See this page for more details. You do not need a Google account to receive summaries, any email address will do.

Can I check my child's grades on Classroom?

Although your child's teacher(s) may assign grades to work submitted through Classroom, as a parent or guardian, you do not have access to the teacher's grade book.

How can I switch from one Google account to another?

You can have multiple Google accounts attached to your Chrome browser. When you log into Chrome with a Google account (EMSB or Gmail), you will be automatically logged into Google Classroom and other Google Apps with that account. Note that your child will only be able to join their teachers classroom by using their EMSB username and password. See this link for more information about adding multiple accounts to Chrome.

Where can I find the Google Meet link for my child to join their class' online meeting?

The Meet link will be made available by the teacher and can be found in the top banner of each Classroom. Each teacher may have their own class and link.
