About me

I'm Emily C., and I'm currently a junior from Taiwan! 

I'm always intrigued by the impact of finance in life and the global market. As a student, I’m aware of how important financial literacy is to people, and not everyone has the opportunity and environment to learn about it. In middle school, I didn’t get a chance to learn any topics related to financial literacy, economics, or finance. Meanwhile, I have a passion in how business and technology interacts. My interest developed from daily conversations with my dad, who shares with me his investment strategies and teaches me reasons why I should be a lifelong learner. I hold those values and the eagerness to learn coming to Emma, where I can explore my passions. I see Signature as an opportunity for me to take healthy risks and explore new approaches to what I'm passionate about. 

Beyond Signature, I am also a dance choreographer and enjoy solving math problems, where I’m able to view problem-solving and decision-making through different lenses, shaping my character with a more holistic perspective.
