Family and Alumni Weekend provides an opportunity for alumni and/or the family of currently enrolled students to see what life is like at Emmaus. At Family and Alumni Weekend, you will have the chance to visit your classes, meet professors, join them in the bleachers as they cheer on the women's and men's basketball teams, or explore the city of Dubuque with them. This weekend provides a space for you to connect with your old classmates or your student by seeing what they have come to enjoy here, and then enjoying it with them.

In addition to all alumni, this weekend is for the whole family! It is open to students' parents, grandparents, siblings, and any other relatives with whom your student would like to share their life. Their family is our family!

There is no cost to attending Family and Alumni Weekend. If you would like to enjoy meals in the Robbie Pile Dining Hall, you can purchase meal tickets at the host stand when you enter the Dining Hall. Tickets for athletic events can be purchased online or upon entry of each athletic event. 

Family and Alumni Weekend is once a year in the winter (or spring semester), however, a similar event also occurs every fall. This event has newly been named Homecoming weekend, and has similar programming to the Winter Family and Alumni Weekend. We'd love to see families and alumni attending both events, however, we are grateful to host two similar events for your benefit to connect with current students and family year-round.

Meals can be purchased upon entry of the Robbie Pile Dining Hall, where they accept cash and card payment.

Lunch/Dinner - $8.00

Breakfast - $5.50

Salad Bar (includes drink bar) - $5.50

Children (ages 4-12) - $5.00

Children (ages 3 and under) - Free

Drink Bar - $1.00
