We send a questionnaire to get to know our athletes and their goals. Also some information about their training and injury history of all of our athletes. The number one predictor of a future injury is a previous one.
More and more research shows that sleep is the number one method or recovery and regeneration. This is why we have a sleep questionnaire/screening to gauge our athletes sleep health/habits. It's as if God gave us all the recovery instruction we needed in Psalm 46:10 "Be still, and know that I am God." The verse physically applies here due to the human nature to want to feel as if we're actively doing something to make us better when really we just need sleep.
We use a nutritional screening questionnaire to gauge our athlete's nutritional knowledge. This helps us have information on how best to educate them to make healthy choices and keep them healthy for not only their season but their life.
The emitted light devices can prevent sleep and decrease melatonin release which is important for sleep. Blue light glasses help reduce the emission to our eyes.
