Henna art is a beautiful form of temporary body decoration that has roots in ancient traditions across various cultures, particularly in South Asia, the Middle East, and North Africa. The design is created using an all-natural paste made from the leaves of the henna plant (Lawsonia inermis), which stains the skin a rich, reddish-brown color. Practicing Henna Art develops fine motor skills, hand-eye coordination, attention to detail, and fosters concentration and focus. Students will be creating their own designs and practicing the application of real Henna on their skin. Tattoo will last 10 days when applied to hands, may last up to 14 days on unwashed skin. Will fade faster if exposed to chlorine. All materials are provided including a daily snack. If you send snacks from home, please be sure they are NUT FREE. Students should bring their own water bottle.
