Throughout the course, we used Google Slides to organize and communicate lessons. Jen and Kendra took turns weekly preparing lessons. For months, we were virtual and flipped all of our instructional content, so early content had a lot of videos. So many of our students had unreliable Internet or unpredictable sleeping habits. Flipping instructional content removed barriers. Later in the year, we didn't know from week to week if we would be in person or not. We found a groove for the whole year by creating slide decks with timed agendas and embedded instructional content. Sometimes, the lessons were for virtual school. Sometimes, they were designed for live instruction.
Below, we've shared a couple of our slide decks that feature lessons where we dived deep into technology standards which augmented our graphic design content.
