Having not fully analyzed the new additions (Chicago: Teen Edition, Legally Blonde: The Musical, and Mean Girls: High School Version) I can't speak with any official authority on the opportunities presented for female students in these shows, but with my peripheral  knowledge of these selections I would estimate that these shows will provide more occasions for young girls to learn and showcase their skills than last year's selections. I hope to be able to analyze them fully and update accordingly.
