The Digital Media Program provides a comprehensive degree where students can structure their major to emphasize radio, television, film production, film studies, or webcasting. It is a well-rounded degree program with a strong liberal arts foundation, which is crucial to being successful in an industry that is not just about pushing buttons. The student will learn how to work as thoughtful observers of their world and become proficient with the technical tools to disseminate their stories and messages.

The Cinema Studies program provides skills and knowledge essential for future filmmakers and passionate film aficionados alike. Students graduate with the skills sought after in the entertainment industry and the historical and theoretical background essential to helping this popular art form grow. Potential jobs include director, camera operator, screenwriter, sound technician, and film critic, among others. Other students might opt to continue their film education at the graduate level to hone their skills for the industry or develop scholarly interests.

Real-world Experience
Students can acquire hands-on experience through co-curricular and extracurricular activities within and beyond the program, such as those below. Students may earn course credit, internship credits, and learning beyond the classroom credits for their involvement.
