The original vehicle, the EMU, is a rear-wheel drive Baja car. Manufactured by our team between the years of 2019 and 2021, it has served as a learning experience for many members. Currently, the vehicle is being tested and fine-tuned to continue to serve as a blueprint for upcoming projects.
In 2021, the team began designing a new, 4-wheel drive vehicle for the 2023 race year. It is affectionately called Eagle I. Currently, we are busy assembling and machining the vehicle with hopes of competing in the May 2023 Baja SAE race.
In 2024, the team participated in the Williamsport Baja SAE Competition. At this competition, we were able to put our skills to the test as the car underwent several challenges. Overall, we were able to network and gain knowledge, and experience that will help us in future competitions.
The team has also been featured in an EMU Today article. Click here to read it!
