Immersing oneself in a forest improves our physical and mental health. Instructional staff visiting Fish Lake Environmental Education Center will explore how they can bring such benefits to their students (and themselves!). This weekend trip is facilitated by Maggie Hanes, Professor of Biology.
The Faculty Development Center is partnering with Admissions and Enrollment Management to launch a new program of enhance visits over the course of the semester. Faculty and lecturers can pair with groups of prospective students in their area of interest for a 1-hour long activity.

This TaLT topics session brings students and faculty together to discuss how AI can reshape, rather than replace, authentic learning. Facilitated by Rania Spantidi and Stela Opingari from the Department of Computer Science.
A regional Gen AI Summit to foster meaningful dialogue about how generative AI is reshaping our lives, work, and learning. Open to K-12 and post-secondary educators, administrators, librarians, and staff; secondary and post-secondary students; workplace professionals; and community members.

We love recognizing the outstanding people of the EMU community! The Faculty Development Center hosts a university-wide event called Thank-An-Eagle, where EMU students have a chance to thank an instructor, staff member, coach, GA or mentor who has helped them during their time here at EMU.
