Birthday Book Donations!

Memorial School families are invited to celebrate their students’ birthdays or commemorate special events by donating a book to the @MiniCavosLibrary. Families can make their book donations in one of two ways: buy a specific book and donate it to the school library.... or make a monetary donation, we can purchase a book. Each donated book will receive a book plate that memorializes the birthday or special event. The Birthday Book Program is a great way to celebrate birthdays while enhancing our school library.

Hello Memorial Families:

Our MEMOR!AL SCHOOL L!BRARY MAKERSPACE for the 2023-24 school year is a fun place to be! The students are having a great time learning! 

THANK YOU to our wonderful PTA for the purchase of new Mo Willems books to our Library-Maker Space, and for the PTA Book Fair  donations which were given to our Media Center!

We can be creative using many things, like,

• pipe cleaners

• paper towel rolls

• toothpicks

• pony beads (plastic beads used to make jewelry)

• aluminum foil

• plastic spoons

• sandwich and quart  ziplock bags

• paper shape punchers or pre-cut shapes for crafts ie. hearts, leaves, pumpkins, circles, etc.

• stickers/any materials used for decorating

• Kidz K'Nex

• Legos (not all the small stuff; just the blocks!)

• Magnets 

There are also several items on the following Wish List that would be greatly appreciated: amazon wishlist or Amazon Cards. Please note that there is absolutely no obligation to provide any items.  We are sharing this list in the hopes that you may have some of the items lying around your house already. 

Donations can be sent in to the main office, Attn: Mrs. Lisa Thomas so that lessons can be created with all of these new and wonderful materials.
