Bess Stewart (they/them)
Bess graduated from the University of Newcastle in 2018, knowing they had an interest in pelvic health and gender-affirming healthcare. They understood the importance that adequate care and support postpartum could have on a birthing person's recovery, and longer term health and well being outcomes.
In the past 7 years Bess has dedicated their clinical interest to improving accessibility of pelvic health physiotherapy for all people, no matter how they identify. They have a specific interest in persistent pain, sexual dysfunction, and integrative healthcare.
With a solid foundation in anatomy and physiology from their initial studies in Biomedical Science, Bess aims to understands the "why & how" of every individual they work with.
As a disabled neurocomplex individual, Bess brings a unique and empathetic perspective to their practice.
