I have got a solution--------We are adopting a new program this year at Emblaze called MyOn. It is designed to help raise student's Reading Levels and cultivate a love of reading. It is big on interest and tracking progress while making lessons personalized for individual students. MyOn is by far one of the most impressive online libraries I have come across. Not only are users able to access hundreds of title, but those titles can be read aloud, highlighted, flagged for tricky words,or assigned. This makes kids way more motivated to read. Best of all----it is FREE, NO COST TO YOU!! One way we are utilizing this great tool is by having students complete weekly challenges in exchange for scholar dollars and prizes based on the amount of effort they put in. Each challenge will include a Reading, News, and Writing task. Top Readers for each grade will also be chosen and rewarded accordingly. Building literacy skills is a PRIORITY at Emblaze Academy!!!
